Under the offer, which has been extended until November 5, for every person who signs up at its website (www.PeakMarket.com), Peak of the Market will donate 50 pounds of fresh vegetables to Manitoba Food Banks via Winnipeg Harvest. In the initial offer, people from every province and territory in Canada, every single state in the United States and 40 countries around the world signed up to help out Food Banks in Manitoba. "We have decided to extend our offer until Friday, November 5 to give everyone a chance to participate in this food drive," stated Larry McIntosh, President and CEO of Peak of the Market. "We're already over a half million pounds but we hope to add to that total over the next few days."
