U.S. Harvest May Not FinishWASHINGTON - Nov 1/04 - SNS -- The 2004 dry edible bean harvest is virtually complete or in the final stages in most of the United States; but poor weather is putting the last 10% to 15% of North Dakota's harvest at considerable risk, with some fraction unlikely to be harvested. Over 90% the entire U.S. bean crop now in the bin. Of the reporting states, harvest progress is slowest in North Dakota and Wyoming; and rated complete in Idaho, Michigan and Washington state.
