Canada's Special Crop Harvest Nearing EndVANCOUVER - Nov 1/04 - SNS -- Specialty crop producers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan continued to struggle to bring this harvest to completion during the past week. But a growing number do not believe they will harvest all the chickpeas, dry edible beans, canaryseed and sunflower they grew. Limited progress was reported with harvests last week on account of cold and wet weather conditions across much of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
