USDA Confirms Purchase of 450 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Oct 27/04 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 450 metric tons (MT) of kidney beans and lentils.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 104A, the lentils were bought for shipment to Bolivia and the kidney beans for shipment Guatemala. Suppliers are required to deliver the product to port between November 21 and December 12.
