Pugsley Classes as APWSYDNEY - Oct 25/04 - SNS -- The wheat variety called Pugsley will be accepted as AWB Premium White (APW) in Victoria for the 2004-05 harvest. Pugsley was initially released by Australian Grain Technologies in 2002, and has previously been classified as APW in South Australia. A full quality evaluation of Pugsley when grown in Victorian conditions has now been completed, and has shown that the quality of the variety is consistent with that produced under its original classification in South Australia. Therefore, the variety has been granted an APW classification.
