U.S. Cotton Ginnings up 25%WASHINGTON - Oct 25/04 - SNS -- The quantity of cotton ginned in the United States through October 15 is up sharply from the previous two years,. according to the latest USDA data. Through October 15, a total of 4,771,550 running bales were ginned in the United States, including 55,200 bales of Amer-Pima cotton. Total cotton ginnings are up 25% over the same period last year.
