Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 15,520 MT
KANSAS CITY - Oct 19/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 53,780 MT, compared to 39,130 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 7,940 MT at 20,270 MT versus 12,330 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 2,650 MT from last year's 14,790 MT.
