Canada's Specialty Crop Harvest Winding DownREGINA - Oct 18/04 - SNS -- Excellent progress was reported with this year's specialty crop harvest in Saskatchewan during the past week. Field pea and lentils harvests are now wrapping up in the province, with growers expressing doubts about their ability to get the last half a percent or so of the crop in before winter settles in across the province. Good progress was also reported with mustard, chickpeas and canaryseed during the past week; with less than a quarter of those crop remaining to be brought in from fields.
