Canada's Specialty Crop Harvest Winding DownREGINA - Oct 12/04 - SNS -- Specialty crop harvest activity is winding down in Saskatchewan, though most of this year's chickpea crop was still not ready to be harvested when the week began. In its weekly crop progress report, Saskatchewan Agriculture, Food and Rural Revitalization said 97% of the field pea and 95% of the lentils grown in Saskatchewan are now in the bin; and only 1% of each crop has not been swathed.
