Lentils Focus on Record Canadian HarvestVANCOUVER - Oct 8/04 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week's trading under mixed conditions under seasonal trading conditions. The near completion of the Canadian harvest has left markets to wonder what they will do with this year's crops. Such thoughts were reinforced by Statistics Canada's agreement with numerous market participants that this year's lentil harvest in Saskatchewan will be a record 929,900 metric tons (MT).
