Food Grade Peas Mixed on Week
VANCOUVER - Oct 8/04 - SNS -- Food grade markets for field peas registered a mixed performance during the past week, with weakness in Canada partly offset by a firmer undertone in U.S. markets.
Attitudes in Canada were not helped by Statistics's Canada forecast of a record 3,307,500 MT field pea harvest; while markets in the United States continue to be buoyed by USDA PL-480 food aid demand.
