Canadian Farmland Values Up 2.4%REGINA - Oct 4/034 - SNS -- Farmland values in Canada rose an average 2.3% during the first half of 2004, according to Farm Credit Canada (FCC). "This is stronger than the 1.5% increase in the last half of 2003," the organization said in a press release. "The current increase is in line with Canadian land value increases since January 2002." The biggest increase in farmland value was registered in Alberta, which jumped 4.4%, followed by British Columbia at 4.2%.
