Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 16,010 MT
KANSAS CITY - Sep 22/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 38,260 MT, compared to 32,990 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 3,640 MT at 15,870 MT versus 12,230 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 5,960 MT from last year's 12,980 MT.
