Hop Stocks Off 12%WASHINGTON - Sep 16/04 - SNS -- Supplies of hops in the United States as of September 1 sank 12% below year earlier levels and 6% below 2002 levels to 61.0 million pounds, according to the latest USDA survey. Stocks held by brewers, at 30.0 million pounds, were down 5 million pounds from September 1, 2003, and September 1, 2002, levels. This was a 14% decline.
