Canadian Egg Output Starts StrongOTTAWA - Mar 5/02 - STAT -- Canadian egg producers started 2002 by getting a good jump on the performance recorded in prior years as the number of eggs produced jumped just over 5% to 49.9 million dozen. This preliminary estimate from Statistics Canada also sets a monthly record for production, beating the previous record by 100,000 dozen eggs. It was just set last December.
