USDA Tenders for 3,670 MT Beans
KANSAS CITY - Sep 15/04 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is tendering for 3,670 metric tons (MT) of navy, pinto and black beans for shipment as food aid.
If the beans covered by this and other outstanding tenders are purchased in full, the total quantity of dry edible beans bought by the USDA so far this marketing year will total 20,660 MT, behind the 23,300 MT bought by this time last year.
