Canadian Chickpea Harvest Questioned
VANCOUVER - Sep 10/04 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their firm note during the past week, helped by the absence of selling pressure from Canada.
The chickpea harvest in that country is being delayed by poor weather. Not only is this keeping growers and processors in that country off markets, it is leading to heightened concern about the quality of the Canadian harvest.
