AWB Closes 2003-04 PoolsSYDNEY - Aug 31/04 - SNS -- The Australian Wheat Board (AWB) closed the 2003-04 AWB National Pool for all pay grades in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Any remaining wheat deliveries from the 2003-04 harvest in those states will now be accepted in the 2004-05 AWB National Pool, which has an Estimated Pool Return for APW of $197 per metric tons (MT) (FOB, GST exclusive). General Manager, AWB National Pool Sarah Scales said the 2003-04 Pool, was principally being closed in preparation for the upcoming harvest, and to protect the returns of 2003-04 pool participants.
