Buyers Scour Bean Market for Bargains
VANCOUVER - Aug 27/04 - SNS -- Dry edible bean trading came to a virtual standstill in North America during the past week in response to a major frost in Manitoba, North Dakota and Minnesota.
The frost has combined with wet weather to cause some market participants to declare now is a good time to buy beans. Processors report strong enquiry from end users, exporters and speculative buyers.
