VANCOUVER - Aug 27/04 - SNS -- North American field pea markets finished the week’s trading mixed to firmer against ongoing worries about the impact recent frosts and rains will have on yields and quality in Canada.
Markets were not quick to respond to the frost, but grower bids and inter-dealer asking prices for human consumption quality peas have advanced because of quality concerns.
