USDA Tenders for 24,850 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Aug 24/04 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here has requested offers on 24,850 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid during October.
The latest tender was dominated by whole and split field peas and dry edible beans. Peas account for nearly 46% of the invitation total, while edible beans account for just over 49%; and lentils the balance.
