Canadian Frost Worries Chickpeas
VANCOUVER - Aug 20/04 - SNS -- Chickpea markets finished the week on a relatively quiet note, though some concern was expressed about the potential for damage to some Canadian crops on account of a light frost at week's end.
Temperatures dropped up to two degrees below freezing for a couple of hours across most of central and eastern Saskatchewan, and parts of western Manitoba.
