French Peas Sales Drop a Third in 2003-04PARIS - Aug 19/04 - SNS -- France finished the 2003-04 marketing year with field pea exports down a third at 523,050 metric tons (MT), according to data assembled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) based on reports from French customs. The marketing year ended on a relatively strong note, with exporters shipping 48,330 MT of field peas in June, up from just 26,540 MT one year earlier.
