Bean Harvest Increased in South AfricaPRETORIA - Aug 19/04 - SNS -- This season's pulse harvest in South Africa looks better than initially expected, judging from the latest crop estimates from the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS). The organization boosted its summer dry edible bean production estimate 1.5% or 1,135 metric tons (MT) to 77,845 MT; while its initial forecast for winter lupins came in at an expected 7,100 MT.
