Improved Pace for Overnight TradeWASHINGTON - Aug 19/04 - SNS -- International trading activity in agricultural commodities picked up pace to open the last half of the week, with sales of soybeans and barley dominating overnight news. Exporters in the United States report selling 110,000 metric tons (MT) of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations during the 2004-05 marketing year. The sales were reported by the USDA, which said U.S. exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 metric tons or more of one commodity, made in one day to one destination, by 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on the next business day following the sale.
