Pending Harvest Pressures Peas
VANCOUVER - Aug 13/04 - SNS -- North American field pea markets were generally easier during the past week in the face of modest import demand and anticipation of impending harvest selling pressure in western Canada.
Reports of more normal monsoon activity on the Indian subcontinent weighed on markets, but local traders there doubt kharif season pulse plantings can recover to normal levels.
