France Ships 42,570 MT Peas in MayPARIS - Aug 5/04 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France totalled 42,570 metric tons (MT) in May, down 22% from the volume shipped in April and nearly matching the quantity exported in May of 2003. With only one month of data remaining to be collected for the 2003-04 marketing, it seems clear last season's export performance ended up closer to the half million ton mark than initially expected.
