AND 31 2004 IN THAT ORDER IN THOUSAND HUNDRED WEIGHT (100,000 LBS) UNITS.
EXPECTED MOVEMENT IS FOR THE PERIOD AUGUST 1-14, 2004.  PRICES ARE
FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 2, 2004 COMPARED WITH MONDAY, JULY 26, 2004. UNLESS
OTHERWISE STATED SALES ARE F.O.B. SHIPPING POINT BASIS (INCLUDING
DELIVERED SALES F.O.B. SHIPPING POINT BASIS) OR PORT OF ENTRY AND EXTRA

as more growers begin the harvest.  Early production has been diverted to
local markets.  The first F.O.B. report is expected to be release during
the week of August 8.

expected about the same.  Trading early fairly slow, late moderate.

   EASTERN SHORE OF VIRGINIA---Shipments 15-12-9---Movement expected to
remain about the same.  Trading moderate.  Prices higher compared to
Friday, July 30.  The harvest on Monday, August 2 was curtailed due to rain
and wet conditions.  Current supplies in too few hands to establish a
market.  Prices Friday July 30, flats 12 1-pint baskets 7.20-8.20.

Supplies on Monday, August 2 were fairly light.  Most of the shipments
were from prior sales prior sales.  Prices represent few sales.  Quality
generally good.

remain about the same.  Trading moderate.  Prices higher compared to
Friday, July 30.  The harvest on Monday, August 2 was curtailed due to
