India Issues Crop AdvisoriesNEW DELHI - Jul 27/04 - SNS -- The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has issued farm advisories for several parts of the country because of this year's below average monsoon rainfall levels. The wording of the advisories suggests the impact on kharif season pulse crops will be mixed, with ICAR recommending expanded seeding in some crop districts in the place of cereal and coarse grains; while warning pulse crops in other parts may have suffered irreparable damage.
