U.S. Expects Record Field Pea HarvestWASHINGTON - Jul 12/04 - SNS -- Planted acreage of dry edible peas for 2004 is estimated at 480,000 acres, up 42% from last year and 55% above 2002, according to the latest USDA crop production report. Harvested area is forecast at 454,000 acres, up 38% from last year. Area planted in North Dakota, at 280,000 acres, is 75% above a year ago.
