North American Lentils Slightly Firmer
VANCOUVER - Jul 9/04 - SNS -- North American chickpea markets finished the week's trading on a firmer note for both large kabuli and desi-type chickpeas.
Demand for larger caliber kabuli chickpeas is continuing to pull Canadian and U.S. prices higher as buyers work hard to find alternatives to Mexico, which experienced its second short crop in a row.
